We're excited to announce that Myself AI now integrates with Notion — one of the most requested features from our community.
## What Does It Do?
The Notion integration lets you connect your Notion workspace to Myself AI. Once connected, you can:
- **Import Notion pages as Notes** — Your Notion pages, complete with headings, lists, code blocks, and callouts, are imported as rich notes in Myself AI.
- **Import databases as Tasks** — Notion databases with status, due date, or priority properties are automatically recognized and imported as tasks with the correct fields mapped.
- **Search Notion content with your AI assistant** — All imported content is indexed, so you can ask your AI assistant questions like "What did I write about project planning in Notion?" and get relevant answers.
- **Keep everything in sync** — Hit "Sync Now" anytime to pull in new or updated pages from Notion.
## How to Connect
1. Go to **Settings > Calendar & Integrations**
2. Find **Notion** under "Other Integrations"
3. Click **Connect**
4. Notion will ask you to select which pages and databases you want to share with Myself AI
5. Click **Allow access**
6. Back in Myself AI, click **Sync Now** to import your content
That's it. Your Notion content is now part of your personal AI knowledge base.
## Smart Classification
Not all Notion pages are the same. Our sync engine automatically classifies your content:
- Pages with **status columns, checkboxes, due dates, or priority fields** are imported as **Tasks** — with completion status, due dates, and priority levels preserved.
- Everything else is imported as **Notes** — with full content including headings, bullet points, code blocks, quotes, and more.
Duplicate detection ensures the same page is never imported twice, even if you sync multiple times.
## Why Beta?
We're labeling this integration as beta for now. Our Notion integration is currently under review by the Notion team, and we want to make sure everything is polished before calling it final. During the beta period:
- The core functionality (connect, sync, import) is fully working
- We may make adjustments based on feedback from Notion's review or from you
- We'd love to hear what you think — what's working well, what you'd like to see improved
## What's Next
This is just the beginning of our Notion integration. Here's what we're considering for future updates:
- **Two-way sync** — Changes in Myself AI reflected back in Notion
- **Automatic background sync** — No need to manually hit "Sync Now"
- **Selective sync** — Choose specific databases or pages to keep in sync
- **Export to Notion** — Push notes, journal entries, or AI artifacts back to your Notion workspace
## Try It Now
Head to **Settings > Calendar & Integrations** and connect your Notion workspace today. If you have feedback or run into any issues, reach out to us at support@myselfai.app.
This integration joins our growing list of connections alongside Google Calendar and Obsidian — all designed to make Myself AI the central hub for your personal productivity.
