- A **journal entry** with today's date
- A **task** to your task list
No forms. No friction. Just capture and keep writing.
### Sync Obsidian Notes to Myself AI
Turn on auto-sync and every markdown file you edit in your vault gets sent to Myself AI as a note. Your vault and your digital brain stay in perfect harmony.
You can also sync individual notes manually using the command palette.
## How to Install the Plugin
Getting started takes about two minutes:
**Step 1 — Download the plugin files**
Visit https://github.com/Kingtriton92/myself-ai-obsidian-plugin and download three files: `main.js`, `manifest.json`, and `styles.css`.
**Step 2 — Add to your Obsidian vault**
1. Open Obsidian and go to **Settings → Community Plugins**
2. Click **Open plugins folder** (this opens your vault's `.obsidian/plugins/` directory)
3. Create a new folder called `myself-ai`
4. Copy the three downloaded files into that folder
**Step 3 — Enable the plugin**
1. Back in Obsidian, go to **Settings → Community Plugins**
2. Click the **Reload plugins** button
3. Find **Myself AI** in the list and toggle it on
**Step 4 — Connect your account**
1. Log into [Myself AI](https://myselfai.app) and go to **Settings → Integrations**
2. Click **Enable Obsidian** — this generates a secure API key
3. Copy the key and paste it into the Myself AI plugin settings inside Obsidian
You'll see a green "Connected" confirmation. That's it — you're ready to go.
